A Weekend Away.

Is it a weekend away if we only travel 20 miles north? It is for us. A family in our church has a house right on the ocean that they make available to us whenever we want. It is a true blessing. No phone ringing. No laundry to be done. No cleaning to do. No computer to distract us. Just a book and the sound of an ocean.

The weather was a little cold and the tide was high most of the day, but we did manage to get some walking on the sand. We also went to pizza, watched movies and played skee ball at the arcade. It was a good time of relaxation for all of us.
