pumpkin patch.

Another day off of school. We had a slow start this morning, but eventually set out in search of pumpkins. We ended up at a pumpkin patch about 20 min. South of town. I use the term "pumpkin patch" loosely because apparently they didn't plant pumpkins last year so they just scattered some out in a field. Hey, whatever works! The kids didn't know the difference and we had fun enjoying the sunshine.

We sure have had some wacky weather lately. One day it's dark and dumping rain and the next day it's bright and beautiful, sunshine. We'll enoy it while it lasts.

Tonight it will be carving time! I'm thinking of monogramming one (if the kiddos let me).
